Massey Ferguson 1700 range of compact tractors include the MF1740 and MF1747 models. They are 38 and 47 hp respectively and feature a 3 cylinder and 4 cylinder diesel engine. Both include CAT 1 rear 3 point linkage with lift capacity of 1.27 and 1.58 tonnes.

There is a choice between a three cylinder turbo and four cylinder engine which offer 38 HP and 46 HP respectively.

Both the 1740 and the 1747 are offered with either a Hydrostatic or Mechanical 12 x 12 transmission.

The cab interior is designed to be comfortable and provides excellent visibility whilst remaining operator friendly.

The rear mounted PTO drive is 540rpm as well as a 540 Eco as a standard with both the MF 1740 and MF 1747 models.
